Jacobs Pavilion Rules

Jacobs Pavilion has a list of policies and rules that ensure performances go ahead uninterrupted. These have been put in place to keep attendees safe. It’s worth getting familiar with some of these rules ahead of time, so your night at the Pavilion will go smoothly.

Shows at Jacobs Pavilion happen come rain or shine, so please bring suitable footwear and a rain coat or poncho. For comfort, guests are permitted to bring a blanket, one factory-sealed bottle of water up to 20oz, a personal seat pad or seat back and an umbrella (up to 36” in diameter – no pointed tips). Guests are also allowed to bring a small purse or backpack.

Small personal cameras are usually permitted at Jacobs Pavilion, but camera policies do vary from show to show, depending on the artist, and are subject to change. Flash photography, cameras with a removable lens or video recorders are prohibited unless with prior venue approval. Audio recording is strictly prohibited.

Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol, drugs or illegal substances; animals or pets; banners, flags, posters or large signs; bicycles or skateboards; coolers or picnic baskets; fireworks; laser pointers; lawn chairs; spiked jewelry; stickers; wallet chains over 6”; weapons, guns, knives, mace or pepper spray.

Weather policies

Jacobs Pavilion operates no matter the weather – so it’s advisable for guests to come prepared with suitable footwear and a raincoat or poncho. For added comfort, you can bring the following items:

» One factory-sealed bottle of water (up to 20oz)
» Personal seat pad or seat back
» An umbrella (up to 36” in diameter without pointed tips)

Recording equipment

Small personal cameras are allowed in the venue, but professional recording equipment is prohibited. This includes flash photography, cameras with removable lenses, and video recorders. To bring any of these items into the venue, you will need to get official venue approval. Also, note that some camera policies can vary depending on the artist performing.

There are several prohibited items that you cannot take into Jacobs Pavilion. This has been put in place to ensure the safety of all guests. Here are some of the prohibited items:

» Posers or large signs
» Coolers or picnic baskets
» Fireworks
» Laser pointers
» Lawn chairs
» Spiked jewelry
» Weapons including guns, knives, mace and pepper spray

Seating

All guests should sit in their assigned seats if they have purchased reserved seating. For those with general admission tickets, there are no designated seats. You should, however, be considerate of fans and others around you throughout the event.

Emergency procedures

If there is an emergency at the venue, you should follow all instructions from venue staff and emergency personnel. If an evacuation is necessary, remain calm and mindful of others around you. Venue staff and/or emergency personnel will guide you to the nearest exits to ensure everyone can leave the venue safely and quickly.
