Massachusetts born Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys has been at the frontrunner in folk punk since the 90s. The band has been known for their exceptional St. Patricks gigs, but also has become global sensations performing concerts as far as Australia, Japan, and Europe. In 2005, the band released fifth studio The Warrior’s Code, which is practically the band’s career defining work. Since the incredible success of this album, Dropkick Murphys has constantly made their entry into the charts with their subsequent releases. Some of the band’s most iconic titles include “I’m Shipping Up to Boston,” “Rose Tattoo,” “The Boys Are Back,” “Worker’s Song,” and tons more.
Hardcore punk phenoms Bad Religion have made great strides as the authorities in Los Angeles born punk powerhouses. The band is credited for spearheading the revival of punk rock during the 90s and is known for paving the way for California born punk phenoms like NOFX, Rancid, and The Offspring. The band’s eighth album, Stranger Than Fiction, is the first to find international commercial success, earning gold across three countries and charting in the U.S. mainstream category for the first time. The band’s latest album, The Age of Reason was released in 2019 and the effort charted in eight countries.
