Familiarizing yourself with the seating chart at Jacobs Pavilion is a good way to ensure you get the right tickets to enhance your experience. There are 5,000 seats in this venue and a total capacity of 19,000 spread across five different areas. Let’s look at each of them.
Floor
The floor area offers a close view of the stage. These tickets are a good choice for anyone who wants a more intimate experience and connection with the performance. These seats are for general admission tickets, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a place. It’s mostly standing, perfect for those who want to be on their feet and engage with the performance.
VIP
The VIP seating area provides a premium experience with terrific sightlines and additional amenities. You’ll find that VIP tickets usually include perks like access to a private lounge, complimentary drinks and special parking privileges. If you want a comfortable experience, this might be the right choice for you. However, please note that VIP tickets are often the most expensive you can purchase.
Grandstand
The grandstand is a raised area that offers a broader perspective of the stage. This section is ideal for those who want a panoramic view of the performance. Note that all grandstand seating is reserved, so you will need to secure your seats ahead of time. Most of the grandstand seats have good sightlines.
Sky Boxes
Like VIP seats, Sky Boxes are premium seating options that provide a private and elevated vantage point over the venue. Each Sky Box will host a small group, offering your party additional comfort and exclusivity. They also come with additional services like dedicated servers and a private restroom. Corporate events and special occasions tend to purchase these tickets and they can be expensive.
General admission
General admission tickets cover various sections across Jacobs Pavilion. They don’t offer assigned seating but provide a range of options both closer to the stage (the floor, as above) and further back. This allows you to find the best place depending on your preferences. You should remember that arriving early with general admission tickets can help you to secure the best spots.
Which is the best ticket to choose?
